CLUBHOUSE TOUR CAPTIVATES ADULT HOMEBUYERS

The enormous popularity of the Covington Village active adult community in northern Ocean County was affirmed yet again, as over 200 eager homebuyers attended the recent Clubhouse Preview tour presented by award-winning builder, Matzel Development. As visitors explored the nearly completed clubhouse and residents of the community interacted with prospective buyers, the Sales & Information Center became a bevy of activity throughout the afternoon.

“We anticipated a very strong response, but the actual turnout surpassed even our highest expectations,” said Marge Karahuta, Director of Sales & Marketing for Matzel Development. “Even though the clubhouse won’t be fully completed for about another month, just this preview left homebuyers with the lasting impression of how ideally the facility was designed to complement the lifestyle that they envision.”

During the lively afternoon, several sales contracts were signed, and many visitors expressed interest in exploring the lifestyle advantages also found in the home designs and serene location that distinguishes Covington Village. “Since the clubhouse mirrors the elegance and very special aura of gracious adult living that defines this community, it was only natural that the attendees would want to go on to investigate the possibilities built into our homes,” Karahuta explained.

A gated, midrise condominium neighborhood engulfed by preserved woodlands to ensure ongoing privacy, Covington Village is the first community of its kind ever created in Ocean County. Homebuyers may choose from three distinctive floor plans, including a one-bedroom, a one-bedroom with den and two-bedroom models. Prices start in the high $100,000’s.

When completed, the clubhouse will feature a fitness center, men’s and women’s lockers and saunas, a billiards room, card room, home theatre, business center and a health and wellness center. The clubhouse will be enhanced by the services of an Activities Director. The clubhouse grounds will include an outdoor heated pool, a luxurious spa, a sundeck and a patio.

Covington Village received the 2005 Grand Award for Community of the Year, along with four other awards for excellence, from the New Jersey Builder’s Association. The community is located near Route 9 and the Garden State Parkway, allowing homebuyers convenient access to family and friends.
