HUNDREDS ATTEND OCTOBERFEST AT COVINGTON VILLAGE
Active adult homebuyers came from far and near to attend the recent Octoberfest event held at Matzel Development’s Covington Village condominium community in northern Ocean County. Against a backdrop of turning autumn leaves, visitors enjoyed crisp apple cider and delicious food, while exploring the spacious home designs, activities-oriented clubhouse and preserved wooded grounds that combined to win the 2005 Grand Award for Community of the Year Award from the New Jersey Builder’s Association.
“The turnout was spectacular,” remarked Marge Karahuta, the Director of Sales & Marketing for Matzel Development, builder of this rapidly selling community. “We had homebuyers from New York, northern New Jersey and the local shore area, some of whom took advantage of special options incentives and the quick delivery of several home designs by making their purchases on the spot.”
Homebuyers began their Octoberfest experience at the expansive clubhouse, where the food and refreshments were served and Sunday’s football games were being shown on the large screen TV in the clubhouse theater. “Everyone was is great spirits, especially when they experienced the homes and lifestyle available to them here at Covington Village,” Karahuta said. “The visitors were especially impressed by the lifestyle described to them by people already residing at Covington Village. This first-had tribute to a very special way of life had a powerful impact on attendees, many of whom have visited this community before and were even more awed by the neighborhood.”
The autumn season has been particularly busy at the community, not only due to the availability of fast occupancy, but also because of the many built-in options and upgrades that the builder has included in those homes. “Homebuyers are getting the best of all worlds with our quick delivery homes,” said Karahuta. “Not only can they lock in a favorable occupancy time frame but also receive thousands of dollars worth of options with their purchase.”
The community is surrounded by preserved woodlands, ensuring homebuyers of continual privacy in a secluded setting that is also easily accessible to Route 70 and the Garden State Parkway; thus making frequent visits from friends and family more convenient. An elegant community entrance enhanced by ponds and fountains welcomes visitors, who can choose from three distinctive floor plans, including a one bedroom, a one bedroom with den and a two-bedroom style. Each condominium building’s foyer mimics the gracious nature of the homes and grounds, demonstrating the builder’s attention to creating a luxurious lifestyle in every sense.
The 11,400 sq. ft. clubhouse at Covington Village features a fitness center, men’s and women’s lockers and saunas, a home theater, a billiards room, a card and crafts room, a large gathering room, a wellness center, a computer room and banquet room and catering kitchen. Outside the clubhouse are an outdoor heated pool and spa, sundeck and patio. An Activities Coordinator is on hand to help homeowners get the most out of the clubhouse experience.
