MATZEL
DEVELOPMENT SALES MANAGER WINS F.A.M.E. AWARD
Louise Giovinazzo, Sales Manger at the Covington Village
Community for active adults located in northern Ocean County,
received the prestigious F.A.M.E. award for Sales Manager
of the Year at a ceremony held in mid-February at the Grand
Marquis in Old Bridge. The award represented one of 12 acknowledgements
for excellence that were conveyed to Matzel Development,
the community’s builder, by the New Jersey Shore Builders
Association (NJSBA) during the second annual gala attended
by hundreds of association members and guests.
Giovinazzo’s
efforts in managing three other associates in the on-site
sales team at Covington Village were recognized by NJSBA among those of her peers
at top building firms at the Jersey Shore. “Louise has done an outstanding
job for us since the community opened,” said Greg Matzel, President of
Matzel Development. “This award speaks volumes for her commitment to customer
service and dedication to the sales staff at Covington Village, especially considering
the tough competition she faced among entrants from quality building firms throughout
the Shore Area.” Designed for active adults age 55 and over, Covington
Village is a secure, gated condominium community, surrounded by preserved woodlands,
that is convenient
to major highways, shopping, golf courses, beaches and entertainment facilities.
Three distinctive home designs are available. A 14,000 sq. ft. community clubhouse
is scheduled to open during the upcoming summer.
In addition to Giovinazzo’s
award, Matzel Development also won Community of the Year honors for Covington
Village, as well as Best Marketing Director,
Best interior Merchandising, Best Landscaping, Best Architectural Product
Design, and six other F.A.M.E. Awards.
The F.A.M.E. (Fabulous
Achievement in Marketing Excellence) Awards are presented
to professionals representing all aspects of the building industry in dozens
of categories. The NJBA is a professional trade association comprised of
homebuilders, remodelers, materials suppliers, subcontractors, lending
institutions and others
involved in housing and building related fields.
