MATZEL DEVELOPMENT WINS F.A.M.E. AWARDS
Two key employees involved in Matzel Development’s Covington Village active adult community in Ocean County were acknowledged with F.A.M.E. Awards at a ceremony recently held at The Grand Marquis in Old Bridge, New Jersey. Pete DeCaro was named Project Superintendent of the Year and Louise Giovinazzo was honored as Sales Manager of the Year in this fourth annual awards event sponsored by the Shore Builders Association of Central New Jersey.
DeCaro received his award for excellence in supervising construction, sub-contracting and scheduling functions at Covington Village, while Giovinazzo was acknowledge for her abilities in managing the community’s staff of sales professionals. “Pete and Louise have always been two of our top employees,” said Marge Karahuta, the Director of Sales & Marketing for Matzel Development. “These awards speak volumes for their commitment to our customers, especially considering the tough competition they faced from some of the area’s best builders.”

The F.A.M.E. Awards are presented to many categories of building professionals. The Shore Builders Association of Central New Jersey is a trade organization of homebuilders, remodelers, materials suppliers, subcontractors, lending institutions and others involved in housing and building related areas.
